Our unapologetically bold 5-year old Rye whisky was cultured for an additional three and a half years in freshly emptied Quail’s Gate Fortified Foch casks to tame its frontier feistiness. This gorgeously refined whisky delivers layer upon layer of complexity with each successive sip. T
he nose is an explosion of deeply toasted oak followed by tones of malted rye and nutmeg, which are soon complimented with waves of plum, cherry, and fig. As the whisky covers the palate, there is a touch of spice and a smooth warm mouth-feel followed by a hint of rich port. The finish is long and luxurious, just what you would expect from BC’s original double-wood finished rye whisky!
