PROOF: 51% Rye 2026-002-02
This whisky was one of two whiskies released in our Rye vs. Rye showdown in June 2026. Proof Whisky Collective members were treated to a side-by-side comparison of two different single-cask Rye expressions both bottled at the same ABV but of differing mash-bills.
Our 51% Rye is has the same mash-bill of 51% North-Okanagan un-malted Rye and 49% malted-barley as our traditional Rye whisky, but was released at a matching 47.3% ABV to its’ 100% Rye counterpart. 51% Rye was also aged for 9 years in a custom toasted and charred white-oak cask.
