From Coldstream Valley to Cask: Crafted with Soul

Harvested from the fertile fields of Coldstream Valley, just west of our Vernon Flagship Distillery, BRBN begins with the finest local grains 54% grain corn and 46% malted barley. We mill it onsite, coaxing out its character before it meets our state-of-the-art German-made copper pot flavour stills. Through careful fermentation and a meticulously monitored distillation, we shape a spirit that’s as rugged as it is refined.

Then comes the magic of time. For a minimum of five years, BRBN rests in hand-selected virgin (first use) custom white American oak casks— heavily toasted and medium-charred—to draw out its soul. These barrels infuse the whisky with delicate notes of caramel and vanilla, while lending it a deep, rich auburn glow. The result is a smooth yet spirited pour, layered with complexity and warmth—a true taste of Canada's craft heritage.

Well balanced, subtly smoky, a hint of cinnamon, and an amazing vanilla finish. Who cares for American bourbons when we have an amazing Canadian one!!! This is my new go to bourbon.

I never had Bourbon before, so I do not know what a proper "Kentucky" Bourbon is supposed to taste like. Since we are not buying US alcohol, I thought I would try our home grown Canadian Bourbon and was pleasantly surprised!
I actually now prefer Bourbon to Whisky after tasting this..it is really good and has kind of a sweet taste to it (must be the corn). Love it!

I searched for a good alternative to Kentuck bourbons and found it here. Can’t imagine going back in the future.
BLK BRBN Cask Strength Bourbon makes the best Old Fashioned I’ve had.

BRBN is to me one of the best attempts to replicate a fine Kentucky Bourbon. Like many bourbons (and other liquors) the initial taste may not be overly pleasing, but after a couple of sips your pallet welcome with open arms. For those of us unable to by our US of EH favourite this is a great CANADIAN option.

I've bougth the Nectar of the Gods and the Rye (which I haven't tasted yet) ... I'm really not disappointed with any of the products ... I may try some more

Ordered both versions of your BRBN. Have yet to try the BLK version; this is a very smooth and balanced corn whisky. Definitely some of the best bourbon/corn-whisky I've tried. As other reviewers have noted, very easy to drink neat. A new favourite!!

Finally got to open the BRBN bottle I received as a gift. First impressions are very favorable. Very smooth and nice on the palate . Little burn that settles down.
Interesting corn flavor from their grain. Different from Kentucky made bourbon of corn and barley. I really liked it and am looking forward to additional tastes as the bottle is now open and satellite oxygen affect that alters and refines the spirit. Great work by the distillery . Thank you.
