This seductively smooth whisky represents a Canadian first…Terroir specific North Okanagan Rye Whisky finished in our innovative new whisky finishing technique: Introducing the “Pioneer County Process” which takes “Lincoln County Process” and turns it on its head!

After eight years of aging to perfection, this carefully selected single cask of Rye whisky was slowly filtered through a newly emptied, deconstructed, then slow-torch-caramelized Okanagan Spirits cask that previously held premium Quebec syrup from the private family sugar shack of our great friends at Distillerie Grand Derangement in St. Jacques Quebec.

The result: Gorgeous notes of candied maple, smoke and toasted oak on the nose, followed by amazingly bold yet smooth flavours of toffee, saddle-leather and spicy rye to round out this New-World style of whisky from Western Canada’s pioneers of Craft Whisky in creative partnership with Quebec’s leaders in premium craft spirits... and heritage family maple syrup!
