From Coldstream Valley to Cask: Crafted with Soul

Harvested from the fertile fields of Coldstream Valley, just west of our Vernon Flagship Distillery, BRBN begins with the finest local grain: 54% grain corn and 46% malted barley. We mill it onsite, coaxing out its character before it meets our state-of-the-art copper pot flavour stills. Through careful fermentation and a meticulously monitored distillation, we shape a spirit that’s as rugged as it is refined.

Then comes the magic of time. For a minimum of five years, BRBN rests in hand-selected virgin (first use) custom white oak casks— heavily toasted and medium-charred—to draw out its soul. These barrels infuse the whisky with delicate notes of caramel and vanilla, while lending it a deep, rich auburn glow. The result is a smooth yet spirited pour, layered with complexity and warmth—a true taste of BC’s craft heritage.
