Moondog
One of the original creations from the Bittered Sling line up, the Moondog has been one of the quintessential expressions in the portfolio.
Inherently smoky, latin, savoury and spicy, the Moondog lifts any oak-matured spirit. With notes of dried aromatic chilies, lime leaves, wild oregano, and smoked black pepper – a latin feel. This one is a brilliant expression of Latin America and the southern USA.
Beverage recommendations: Oak-matured spirits, and their best cocktails – Old Fashioned, Manhattan, anything with Tequila, rum and mezcal, whether shaken or stirred. Hot Chocolate, French-Press Coffee also receive Moondog exceptionally!
Cooking recommendations: Meat & vegetable seasoning. Brines, marinades and sauces- a spice rack in a bottle! Replaces vanilla extract in baking and pastry recipes.
