Rye isn’t easy. The grain is notoriously tricky to work with, and the result? A spirit that’s not a “beginner whisky.” It’s a slow burn, a love that grows with every sip. What sets us apart goes beyond the grain. While many distilleries lean on used barrels, we take a different path. We custom-craft virgin white oak casks for our rye whisky. Yes, it drives up our production costs—dramatically—but we wouldn’t have it any other way. That fresh oak interacts with the rye in a way that’s pure magic, coaxing out flavors you won’t find anywhere else. “It has a warmth and spice to it like a good Indian meal that warms you up from the inside,” says Tyler Dyck, our CEO.
