 2 oz Aquavitus
 ¾ oz Lime Juice
 ¾ oz Cream of Coconut
 ½ oz Root Beer Syrup

Aquavit is an underutilized spirit for me, but one that I enjoy using when the opportunity arises. Traditional aquavit primarily has characteristics of dill seeds and/or caraway seeds. This bottling by Okanagan Spirits still possesses the core qualities of aquavit, but with added botanicals such as cumin, coriander, and anise added to the mix. The anise in particular comes through, which gives almost any cocktail that this spirit is used in the hint of an absinthe rinse. The herbaceous nature of this spirit works well with the root beer syrup, as well as the aroma of fresh mint as a garnish. Reposted from @nickassaur
