First course:
Start your Valentine’s Date night with a cocktail cheese pairing while sitting in front of a warm winter fire.

Starter Cocktail: A simple but elegant Kir Royal to get the evening started.
Fill a champagne flute or coup style cocktail glass with sparkling wine (Cipes Brut) from our friends at Summerhill Winery and then drizzle in ¼ to ½ oz of Okanagan Spirits Double Gold medal winning Blackcurrant Liqueur. https://okanaganspirits.com/recipes/kir-royale/

Cheese board pairing: Delice de Bourgone and Compté cheeses from Perseval & Young Cheesemongers (Kelowna) or the Wedge Cheesery (Vernon)

Main course:
Keep it really simple but tasty so that prep time is kept to a minimum and quality time with your loved one is maximized!

Cocktail: The Rose Nose A beautiful floral cocktail with a subtle hint of spice highlighting Okanagan Spirits Aquavit and Poire Williams https://okanaganspirits.com/recipes/rose-nose/

Meal Pairing: Wild Halibut or Sockeye Salmon from Codfather’s Seafood Market (Kelowna), or A Fine Kettle of Fish (Vernon) that you marinate for 20 minutes with 4 oz of Okanagan Spirits Aquavitus and ½ of a fresh squeezed lemon and a little dill for garnish prior to lightly cooking/searing on the BBQ.

For salad: Keep it simple with mixed greens with a homemade Haskap liqueur vinegrette dressing: (2oz Olive oil, 1 oz Haskap liqueur from Okanagan Spirits, ½ oz white wine or apple cider vinegar, and a touch of Dijon mustard)

Dessert Course:
Finish off cuddling-up back in front of the fire with a decadent chocolate selection from Karat Chocolates (Kelowna), or Cotton’s Chocolates (Vernon) Dessert Spirit Pairing: Choice of either a richly layered dram of Okanagan Spirits Blue Label Laird of Fintry single-malt whisky or if you prefer something on the lighter side a sipper of Okanagan Spirits sumptuous Raspberry Liqueur.
The rest of the Valentine’s “Magic” is up to you!
