Muddle the mint and falernum in the bottom of a short collins glass. Add the absinthe and lime and fill half way with crushed ice, and stir with a bar spoon. Fill the glass the rest of the way with crushed ice, and layer on ample aromatic bitters to the top. Garnish with mint and lime.
